Planning Approved, Walled Garden Wedding Venue

We are thrilled to have received planning consent for a new walled garden rural events venue in Buckland Monachorum at committee this month. We worked collaboratively with Atticus Planning and a wonderful team of specialist local consultants to get this one over the line.

The walled garden and ceremony barn are both Grade II* curtilage listed, located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the fringe of Dartmoor National Park. New elements introduced to the setting were carefully considered and intentionally light touch, respecting the historic context whilst also responding to an ambitious business plan.

Under the permission the venue will be able to host weddings, celebratory events and a range of fantastic courses including charcuterie and cheese making, fire cooking and foraging to name a few.
