Combe Park Farm, Plymouth
Project Overview
A replacement dwelling utilising Class Q fallback scheme within the beautiful South Hams, on the fringe of Dartmoor National Park. Proposals are for a high performing passive timber frame structure with onsite renewables with an embodied carbon payback period of 24.7 years. Proposals comply with the councils stringent DEV32 M5 climate emergency policy.
Proposed materials reflect an agricultural vernacular, utilising natural stone, timber and Pigmento green zinc cladding. The farmhouse responds to the site though a contemporary bank barn form, with upside down living accommodation maximising longer moorland views.
